USA TODAY HAD THE BALLS. THE COMMENT SECTION DIDN’T.
USA Today printed what the looney choir won’t. Young women must take responsibility for their actions. Regretting one’s bad decisions is a far cry from rape. Columnist Ingrid Jacques said it out loud. Under that post, the comment pile-on disagreed on cue — close the paper, nobody wants this opinion, ignore the DA and believe the rewrite.
First they couldn’t cast a White lynching. Then they cast Letitia James vs the frat. Same production company: Panic Before November LLC.
The liberal loonies are out of villains and out of time. October’s here. Midterms are breathing down their necks. So they dig up a two-year-old campus file, fire the local DA for telling the truth about a signed statement, and airlift Lawyer of the Year Letitia James in like she’s the Avengers.
Hochul: “I’ve lost faith in the Tompkins County DA.” Translation: he wouldn’t print the casting call. James, one day before she got the badge, already sobbing on cue: heart out to the victim, the survivor, justice, accountability. Heart first. Badge second. Evidence never.
Here’s what the loonies won’t say out loud. DA Matthew Van Houten said the complainant’s own signed police statement described drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious, and consensual. Insufficient evidence. No charges. No indictment. No conviction. Then a civil suit drops, the choir screams RAPE, and suddenly New York’s top Democratic attorney general is special prosecutor so November can have a White frat boy to hate.
It’s all flopping. The hanging flopped — staged death, drug dispute, three Black men arrested, race hustlers devastated, networks still hunting Whitey. Now the Cornell relaunch. Same scramble. Same lie. Same desperate need for an evil White man before America votes.
Then USA Today — mainstream, not some basement blog — had the balls to print the right thing anyway. Due process still matters. A signed police statement still matters. The replies that disagreed are the casting call. USA Today broke ranks.
We named ourselves Fake News Network on purpose. Other news networks earned it for free. Print the audition. Kill the receipt. FNN prints the receipt. They printed courage.
It’s all flopping. We’re still printing.
