AUGUSTA WATCH
MAINE’S LOONEY LIBERALS LOCK THE DOOR WHILE THE FREEBIE CART KILLS THE TOWN
Wire blocked; sharps everywhere; Mills compassion theater

AUGUSTA — The Maine Wire keeps printing the body count. Maine Democrats keep treating the reporter like a biohazard. That is not accident. That is the product.
They do not want Mainers watching taxpayer needles, Narcan kits, fentanyl strips, and the whole “harm reduction” circus turn Brewer Riverwalk, Lewiston stoops, and Bangor clinic blocks into sharps museums. State figures the Wire cites put free-needle pickups at 8,373 in 2023 and nearly double the next year. Sales pitch: stop HIV. Result file: worse outbreak, kids stuck by discarded syringes, dogs stepping on taxpayer steel, former Lewiston councilor Ryn Soule hospital-treated after a stick while the city still debated more Spurwink freebie money. Compassion with a biohazard sticker.
So the looney liberal machine does what cowards always do when the receipt shows up: block The Maine Wire. Bar them from Democratic events. Stonewall Mills. Panic when Joe Sokol walks in with a notebook. Nuke Facebook reach for linking their own stories. Control the mic. Starve the inbox. Call it safety. It is censorship with a Narcan bow.
Gov. Janet Mills and Hannah Pingree own this brand. Progressive NGOs cash the opioid-settlement checks. Conservatives and working Mainers get the cleanup, the needle sticks, and the lecture. FNN is not inventing a secret free-heroin vault. FNN is saying free drugs-adjacent gear plus zero accountability equals destroyed neighborhoods — and the only thing Augusta fights harder than addiction is a newspaper that refuses to look away.
Republicans and normal people want recovery, enforcement, and streets kids can walk. Looney liberals want the freebie cart, the locked press door, and a camera ban so nobody sees the riverwalk. The Wire keeps asking. They keep locking. Print that.
